Teagan, Ella, Addy, Bayla, and Naevi are spirited young girls who take immense pride in their passion. Upon witnessing the encampments in their hometown of Gatineau, these girls were not only moved but also fueled by anger at the existence of such living conditions in our world. In response, they've taken action. This year, they've joined forces for a Christmas Fundraiser. They will be raising money on a local scale, and those who can not participate locally can donate on a global scale.

Oxfam Canada saves lives in disasters, works on long-term development projects, and campaigns for change.

I am a strong supporter of the work undertaken by Oxfam Canada tackling big issues that keep people poor: inequality, discrimination and unequal access to resources including food, water, and decent work. Oxfam Canada supports a global movement for change – and women are leading that change.
