It’s an easy yet meaningful way to get involved. And by growing our community, we increase our power to respond to global crises, raise awareness, and change the unjust laws that keep people trapped in poverty. I was really excited to come to my first Oxfam event. And I feel very grateful that it was an Oxfam Hunger Banquet [event]. It was incredibly moving. I even was choked up a few times.
